Come experience Highmore, South Dakota! We are a proud, progressive little agricultural community located in central South Dakota, just 49 miles east of the capital city of Pierre. Big things are happening in Highmore right now. One of which is that we have new pool that will be open summer 2024! To learn more about the swimming pool project, or contribute, please visit the Hyde County Parks and Recreation website.

A group of dedicated individuals has come together to form Hyde County Child Development group and is working to expand our child development opportunities in the area.
